Sulphur S .............................................. 85.0%

RECOMMENDED USAGE:
Your target pH for growing citrus is 6.0 - 6.5. Test the pH of your potting mix, we recommend the pour through method. Saturate your mix, wait an hour, then slowly add 1 ounce of water, capture the run off and test pH. To safely reduce your potting mix pH by .5 units (ex. 7.0 to 6.5), dissolve .06 grams (a small pinch) of Copper Sulfur per 3 gallons of potting mix into 1 quart of water. Slowly pour the copper sulfur water mixture evenly over damp, not saturated, potting mix. Avoid the tree’s trunk or leaves to prevent irritation or localized concentration.
We recommend 3 applications 4–6 weeks apart, to allow gradual pH adjustment and monitor tree health. Best applied when soil temperatures are above 50°F for microbial activity. Test soil pH 2–3 weeks after each application to ensure you’re on track and avoid reducing the pH below desired level. Add to cart
Citrus Tree Fertilizer -
We offer 2 different high quality slow release granular fertilizer that we recommend for use for container grow citrus trees. The biggest difference between them in the ratio of nitrogen. The higher nitrogen 13-6-6 is recommended for use when you'd like your tree to focus on growing. The 8-2-8 is a lower nitrogen maintenance fertilizer for when you are happy with how large your tree has grown and are looking to keep it fed and happy.
13-6-6 Specialized Citrus Fertilizer
This higher nitrogen fertilizer is what we and recommend to help your younger citrus trees focus on putting new growth. We use this fertilizer as a starter charge in all of the potting mix we sell to have your younger trees put on some growth. This fertilizer can be incorporated into your new potting mix or worked into the top few inches of your container. Watering it in will activate the fertilizer and it will feed for 4-5 weeks. Reapply every 4-5 weeks. You can fertilize year round in containers as long as they are actively growing throughout the year. Add to cart

In-Ground Citrus Tree Fertilizer
While these fertilizers can be used in the ground, for in ground trees we recommend using a standard balanced 10-10-10 type fertilizer as it is more affordable in the volumes you will be using. We recommend applying 1lb per inch of caliper spread over 3 applications throughout the year. Spread 1/3rd of the amount using these holidays as a guide: Valentines Day, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, stop before August 1st. We recommend applying in a straight line, 12 to 14" away from the trunk, approximately 4 ft long.
